Biography - Alisa Kolpakchy

Alisa Kolpakchy is one of the youngest participants in paratriathlon, and has been in the circuit since 2015. The following year, she represented her country at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games, where she placed in sixth position. In such a short competing career, she then went on to win her first gold medal at the 2017 UKR Paratriathlon National Championships and a bronze medal in the 2019 Tokyo ITU Paratriathlon World Cup.

- 3rd place at the 2017 Iseo - Franciacorta ITU Paratriathlon World Cup;

- 3rd place at the 2017 Kitzbühel ETU Triathlon European Championships;

- 5th place at the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Rotterdam; and

- 6th place at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games.  

Biography - Clare Cunningham

She won a gold medal in a new world record in the S9 50m freestyle at the 1992 Paralympic Games in Barcelona. Paralympic Games in Barcelona. She was born without a left forearm. As a teenager she was a Paralympic swimmer, and once retired from swimming after the Atlanta Paralympics in 1996, took up road running to keep fit. At the end of 2009 she became aware of paratriathlon in the UK and the opportunities available to paratriathletes internationally.
